Tis The Season, Charleston Christmas Events Featured
The Holiday Season is back again and Charleston, a city of tradition, will be holding its annual events.
5th Channukah In The Square.
This event is held on December 5th from 4-6 pm in Marion Square downtown.
It will feature music, dancing, crafts, food, and the lighting of a nine-foot Menorah by Charleston’s Holocaust survivors.
24th ANNUAL CITY OF CHARLESTON TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY
December 4—Marion Square: 4:30pm to 6:30pm
Join Mayor Joseph P. Riley, Jr. and Santa Claus in lighting the magnificent 60-foot Tree of Lights, the official City of Charleston Holiday centerpiece in Marion Square.
30th ANNUAL HOLIDAY PARADE OF BOATS
December 4—Parade begins along Mt. Pleasant waterfront at 5:30pm; viewing from downtown Charleston starts around 6:30pm
Get on board with a Lowcountry holiday tradition as this display of lighted and festive boats proceeds through the Charleston Harbor.
30th ANNUAL CHARLESTON CHRISTMAS PARADE
December 5—Downtown Charleston • 2pm to 4pm
This holiday tradition is better than ever as bands, floats, marchers and performers parade through downtown Charleston.
