An Evening at Bastille Café
Fri., July 16, 8-11 p.m.
The newly formed Gibbes auxiliary group Society 1858 will celebrate Bastille Day in the museum courtyard. Guests will enjoy live jazz by Heddy Rae and hors d’oeuvres and boissons (food and drink) courtesy of Rue de Jean. A French-themed art scavenger hunt will take place throughout the museum. In addition, ballots will be cast at the party for Charleston’s favorite pommes frites (french fries). $25
