You must go!

Last month at the Cavortress Fashion Show at aloft hotel Charleston, I WON a trip to Live in the Vineyard in Napa Valley California. I decided to bring my very best friend from back home in Baltimore and we had the time of our lives. The Weekend was full of intimate concerts, LOTS of wine tasting, great food, good fun, learning new things, meeting new friends, and of course-exploring wine country.
Seeing as how I am a full-time student with a full-time job and three internships, I never would have thought I’d be visiting Napa this soon in life. Over the past several years working in the hospitality industry of Charleston, I have been fortunate enough to learn from some of the best and my interest in wine has grown immensely. I would consider myself to love it more than most (especially red), appreciate it more than I should, and couldn’t wait to visit wine country.

Our first day in Napa began bright and early (still were on East Coast time) long before the wineries were open for tastings and tours. We only had about 2 hours before a scheduled event Live in the Vineyard had planned for us so, we decided to explore.
Once the vineyards were open on the third day, and we had tasted several different wineries at a party the night before, we knew just where we wanted to go: Regusci Winery
Special thank you to Neil Bason, Direct Sales Manager at Regusci Winery, for his much appreciated hospitality and time. If you ever get to Napa, be sure to stop in and see Neil (and Trixie the “mutt slut”) at Regusci- located in the Stags Leap District.
